I figured that if you are reading my blog you may want to know a bit more about who I am.Here are 5 quick facts that are relevant to the topics this blog covers:
- I work at Experience Project where I was the first non-technical hire - I'm currently responsible for a smorgasbord of responsibilities that are basically geared at driving our growth both on the traffic/user side as well as on the revenue side. Learn more about us from when Armen (EP founder/CEO) and I were on Stanford's Entrepreneurial Thought Leader Series
- I started iinnovate - a podcast on entrepreneurship and innovation - with my buddy Matt while we were MBA students at Stanford. We started the podcast to learn more about podcasting (at the time the hottest thing around) as well as to have a good excuse to have conversations with people we thought were really interesting. We eventually became the #1 podcast on entrepreneurship and innovation on iTunes and interviewed some pretty amazing guests.
- My true introduction to the blogosphere and social media was a summer I spent at PodTech, a company started by John Furrier. There, I worked with great people, including Robert and Maryam Scoble, who taught me a lot of what I know about blogging and social media.
- I help Stanford Marketing Professor Jennifer Aaker teach her Power of Social Technologies class, where I'm an adviser to the class as well as a guest lecturer on topics such as Facebook marketing and How to Spread Ideas.
- I'm originally from Brazil and write a blog for one of the biggest newspapers down there, hence I'm very interested in international entrepreneurship, especially in the tech space
